Miracle League of Plymouth

The Rotary Club of Plymouth A.M. is ready to put together the lineup in enlisting partners to join us in the effort to fund a Miracle League Baseball Field. We need every interested person in addition to some pinch-hitters to join us in the project. All we need is the Time, Talent and Treasure necessary to create this amazing facility for the children of Plymouth-Canton and all of western Wayne County.

There are presently more than 200 organized Miracle Leagues located throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico. We are ready to bring one to Western-Wayne County! Each player bats once each inning and all batters would be safe and score a run before the inning was over. Each team and each player always wins. Our umpire describes this as the only league where no one ever gets mad at him or her. Buddies assist Miracle League players. As a result, the parents, children and volunteers are all brought together in a program, which serves them all through service to children with special needs. The program is open to children from any community.

If I were to tell you about an organized youth baseball league, you might call it ordinary. If I were to tell you the athletes are physically and mentally challenged, you might call it touching. If you were to see them play you would call it a MIRACLE.. Help us make this miracle become real.

"Every Child Deserves A Chance To Play Baseball"

If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.
